NAECE Logo Use

NORTH AMERICAN ENERGY COOPERATION EFFORT (NAECE) LOGO AND TRADEMARK USE POLICY

Whereas the North American Energy Cooperation Effort (NAECE) Logos and Trademarks, as depicted above, collectively comprise pending applications or registered trademarks across various jurisdictions, including the United States, Mexico, Canada, Europe, and China, it is imperative to recognize their inherent value. As assets of considerable worth, the utilization and safeguarding of all NAECE trademarks must be diligently observed.

The NAECE Logos and Trademarks hold significance not only for the North American Energy Cooperation Effort entity but also extend their value to all associated NAECE Members, particularly equipment manufacturers whose products are listed within the NAECE domain. To uphold this value, it is imperative that all stakeholders consistently adhere to prescribed guidelines in the utilization of NAECE Logos and Trademarks across all communication and marketing endeavors. Such adherence serves to safeguard the investments made by every NAECE stakeholder in the program and bolsters consumer confidence in the NAECE brand.

Authorized Use of the Naece.Org Logos and Trademarks

It is hereby established as a fundamental principle that third parties, defined herein as individuals or entities other than the North American Energy Cooperation Effort (NAECE) and those expressly authorized by NAECE, are strictly prohibited from utilizing the NAECE Logos and Trademarks without prior authorization. The NAECE Logo and Trademark Use Guidelines serve the essential purpose of delineating the proper protocols governing the utilization of NAECE Logos and Trademarks by stakeholders. In adherence to these Guidelines, it is incumbent upon all parties to ensure that the NAECE Logos and Trademarks are consistently employed in accordance with the specified parameters, serving to identify either the North American Energy Cooperation Effort entity or participation in the NAECE program. Any deviation from the prescribed specifications is categorically proscribed.

Participants engaging in the NAECE program hereby signify their unequivocal agreement to abide by the NAECE Logo and Trademark Use Guidelines, as well as all other pertinent rules and policies promulgated by the North American Energy Cooperation Effort, which retains the prerogative for periodic updates. Participants further acknowledge NAECE as the exclusive proprietor of the NAECE Logos and Trademarks, obligating themselves to refrain from any actions that may impinge upon NAECE’s rights therein. Additionally, participants recognize that any accrued goodwill arising from the use of said Logos and Trademarks shall accrue solely to the benefit of NAECE.

NAECE shall undertake regular reviews of stakeholders’ utilization of the NAECE Logos and Trademarks across diverse mediums, including but not limited to specification sheets, websites, and promotional materials. In instances of non-compliance with the prescribed guidelines, NAECE reserves the prerogative to demand requisite modifications and, in cases of persistent breaches, reserves the right to terminate participation in the NAECE program.

Prohibited Alterations:

  • The NAECE Logo may not be altered, cut apart, separated, or otherwise distorted in perspective or appearance.

Logo Size:

  • The NAECE Logo must be large enough so that the “N” and “E” designs are clearly legible in all mediums.

Minimum Size:

  • Do NOT reproduce the NAECE Logo smaller than 0.25 inch (width) and/or 45 pixels (height).

Product Label Requirements

For labels affixed to products, it is required to include both the NAECE Logo and the product’s QR code.
